ROXANNE THOMPSON

Roxanne Thompson has been working for Cobb County PARKS since 2014 where she started at The Art Station- Big Shanty in Kennesaw and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in being a Specialist for Cobb PARKS art centers since 2018. ​She graduated with a BFA at Kennesaw State University with a concentration in Printmaking and was one of the founding members and first president of the recognized student organization, KSU Print Club. She has worked with various galleries and studios as a preparator and assistant, and in addition to her gallery and studio management skills instructs workshops, co-organizes events, manages social media content, and implements arts programs for all ages.​ When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband, 2 cats and dog.
