Karen McClary is a professional violinist/violist. She graduated from Bowling Green State with a BM Degree in 1976. She has been a member of several symphony orchestras, including the Dallas/Ft. Worth Symphony, and as the principal violist with the Augusta Symphony. She has also performed with The Atlanta Opera Orchestra, the Manhattan String Quartet, and the Bach Society of Chicago.
Karen has an extensive teaching background, having taught at Wheaton College, Augusta University, and Walton High School, as well as private schools such as Westminster, Lovett and Paidea. She has also been a private instructor of violin and viola for more than 35 years.
In her spare time Karen enjoys gardening.
