GERRIE LOWELL
I learned sew from my morn. It was from her that I got my love for color and fabric. Growing up I was fascinated by the quilts I would see at all the New England heritage museums we went to. I wanted to learn to make quilts, but mom was never disinterested. It wasn't until I was 40 that I took my first quilt class. I was working so I could only take classes on Saturday - was hooked from day one. I loved the freedom of making my quilt look however I wanted it to. I loved the process of cutting pieces of fabric and sewing them together to create something new. So, 30 years later, I'm sharing my love for quilting and my knowledge and experience with others
