Hear ye, hear ye! Upon the 15th day of November, from the hours of 10:00 am - 4:00pm, Ye Olde Art Station - Big Shanty shall be hosting the first ever Renaissance Festival in Kennesaw!
This festival of merriment shall unveil 30+ local merchants and artisans, who present their craftworks, exquisite arts, and beyond! We shall also host live artisans showcasing their craft in leatherwork, painting, blacksmithing, and live portraits. With additional pastimes such as pony rides, live musicians, face painting, noble knights, axe throwing, and a costume contest, merriment for the whole family shall surely abound! Free goodies shall be bestowed upon the day's first visitors, including a complimentary tote bag, felt pennant, stickers, and buttons (whilst stocks last!).
The illustrious Big Shanty Bazaar shall transpire alongside the gathering for Illuminated, an exhibition showcasing wondrous artworks inspired by both the Renaissance and Medieval age.

How much does it cost to attend? Admission is free! Food and artwork will be available for sale.
Is there a dress code? Renaissance faire garb is highly encouraged, but not required. Most activities are located outdoors, so we recommend dressing for it possibly being cold. Shoes suitable for walking outdoors recommended.
Inclement Weather? In the event of inclement weather, the outdoor festivities will be cancelled, but indoor activities will continue.
Where is the event located? The Big Shanty Bazaar is at The Art Station located inside Big Shanty Park. Our address is 2050 Kennesaw Due West Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Vendors and most activities will be outdoors, with an indoor art exhibit.
How do I apply to be a vendor? Vendor applications opened on August 1st, and have closed as of October 1st. All spaces have been filled at this time. You may email tas@cobbcounty.gov to be added to our vendor mailing list in order to be notified when we have new vendor opportunities.
Will there be places to eat? Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Nashville Hot Chicken, Bento Bus, Dawgs Smokin' Hawgs, and Travelin' Tom's of Central Etowah Valley. Tables and chairs will be onsite for anyone who wants to eat.
