Beginner Yoga

Over several weeks this series will focus on gently easing into yoga practice. Seated at first and then standing. Breath work and meditation included in each session.
Students should wear clothing that is easy to move in and non-restrictive. Students should bring a yoga mat (or two if mat is thin), 2 yoga foam blocks, Yoga Strap (8' is best, but 6' will also work).
Sessions will take place outdoors on the back lawn of The Art Station facility. Inclement weather may require a make-up of the class session or alternate indoor location TBD weekly on class day.

Acrylic Painting - Beginner to Intermediate

This class begins with a supply lesson, a value study lesson, and a color mixing lesson. Beginner painters will work on a simple landscape painting along with the instructor.
Intermediate to Advanced painters will work from a photo of their choosing. Students are advised to wait to purchase supplies until after the first class day's supply lesson.

Painter's Guided Open Studio

If you are just beginning, or getting back to painting, come join us in a fun studio atmosphere class. You will work at your own pace and paint what you want. The instructor will be there to guide you and answer questions. Open to all skill levels, beginner to advanced, working in any medium you wish. Bring your own supplies. (if using oil paints, please use odorless products.)

This is a light-hearted painting class totally focused on creating beauty and having fun! (Only Bob Ross supplies are used to give you an authentic experience.)
Please bring a roll of paper towels, small pkg of baby wipes and a cardboard box to carry your piece of art home with you—the paint will still be wet! The box needs to be big enough to hold a 12”x16” canvas.
