Christy Hayes
www.christyhayesfineart.com
Christy Hayes lives in Marietta with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She graduated from UAB, in Birmingham, Alabama, with a B.S. in English and Fine Art. She earned a second degree in Education, from Georgia State University. She taught Middle School Language Arts, until her children were born. Painting was a hobby while her children were young, but when they started school, it became her "day job"! In the last 16 years, Christy has lived in Northern California, Connecticut, Alabama, and Georgia. Through this time, she has experimented with acrylic, watercolors, paper paintings, oil paintings, and lately, poured acrylic abstracts.  She is inspired by Norman Rockwell, American Impressionist painters, designer color combinations, moments, and personal photographs.

While living in Connecticut, Christy was a member of the West Hartford Art League, and was exhibited in a juried Canton Artist Guild show, and two juried West Hartford Art League shows.  Recently, her work was shown at the Marietta Museum of Art as a part of the Trilogy Show. She continues her art education through classes and workshops, and regularly tries to learn something outside of her usual mediums, in order to improve her craft. Christy has been a member artist at Gallery 4463 in Acworth, Georgia, and is currently a member artist with the Acworth Arts Alliance, and at the Marietta Square Artist’s Attic, in Marietta, Georgia.

Vanessa Sebastian
http://vanessasebastian.com/
For 15 years, Vanessa has been a freelance graphic designer, web designer, and illustrator. She obtained an associates degree for 3D animation from the Art Institute of Atlanta after initially receiving her bachelor degree in chemical engineering. She has also been teaching character drawing classes and camps aimed at young students for about 8 years and recently started a traditional drawing class as well. Vanessa hopes her students learn valuable art techniques while being entertained by the drawing process. She often jokingly tells her students "Failure is the path to success!" which reinforces the idea that constant practice, including all the mistakes made along the way, are what ultimately makes a successful artist. In her spare time you can find Vanessa watching
Japanese anime, reading comics, playing video games, or teaching a martial arts
